I work with a small home builder in Canada that builds very creative, custom homes. We end up paying quite a bit for a draftsman, since we do the rough sketches and the ideas are ours, but for every house they have to start from scratch.
Is there a program that will allow someone who is pretty comfortable with computers, but has no architectural background, to draft home plans that will be usable?
Our suppliers do the detailed roof truss and floor joist drawings, but we'd still like something that is able to help us come up with plans that won't require a lot of on-site revisions.
ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
