CUBA April 4-11 $3,600
December 8-15, December 15-22 $3,800See for yourself why Cuba was called “The Jewel in the Spanish Crown”. Visit Havana, Cienfuegos, and Trinidad and experience the colonial and contemporary architecture as well as the dramatic impact of the revolution. Spend the day with master architect Roberto Gottardi as he takes us on a private tour of the National School of Dramatic Arts, which he designed at Castro’s request. This program includes all meals.
YUCATAN February 18-26 $2,900There is much to do and see in this vibrant region. Our program begins in Cancun, one of the best resort areas in the world and home to an impressive array of hotels all bordered by mangrove jungles. Here you will experience Xcaret, a specially built ecological and archeological park and the nearby Maya ruins built by the Maya fishermen in the very early history of their culture. On to Merida, the capital state of Yucatan and the dominant city in the region since the Spanish conquest. We will explore this historic colonial center, and then on to the magnificent city of Uxmal and its historic sites and ruins. In Chichen-itza we will visit the fabled pyramids and temples. In the city of Valladolid we will visit the restoration project of colonial housing in the neighborhood surrounding the Franciscan Monastery of San Bernardino de Siena.
PARIS, BRUSSELS AND AMSTERDAM April 18-28 $3,700
April in Paris! Join us to explore and discover the great architectural wonders of one of our favorite cities. Our visit will include the magnificent Louvre, historical Versailles Palace, Musee D’ Orsay, Pompidou Center as well as the works of Le Cobusier, Eiffel, Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, Renzo Piano, Christian Porzamparc and Bernard Tschumi. In Brussels we will visit the cities of Bruges and Ghent were we will visit the Grand Palace, the cosmopolitan Place de Brouckere and the historic Marolles District. We will explore the city’s architectural ranges from Grand Medieval towers to the glamorous postmodern structures. Our next stop – Amsterdam to visit their unique cultural sights and sublime buildings such as the Oude Kerk.
ARGENTINA & BRASIL May 2-12 $3,260

Join us as we visit Buenos Aires, Salvador de Bahia, Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro. In Buenos Aires we will visit the Casa Rosada, the historic Cabildo building, colonial churches, artist colony in the La Boca District, Recoleta’s magnificent residences, Puerto Madero and the new urbanism. In Brasilia we will visit the most important areas of this city including Alvorada Palace, Itamarati and the commercial centers. Our visit to Rio de Janeiro includes a visit to the Jesus Christ figure in the mountains around Corvado, one of the most famous Rio symbols. The post extension program to Peru includes the cities of Lima, Cuzco and Machu Pichu.GREECE AND TURKEY September 12-24 $3340
Our program begins in Turkey and includes the cities of Ankara, Capadocia, Izmir, Istanbul, Kussadasi, Mileto, Didmia, Prieme and Pamukale. We will discover the amazing churches, monasteries, underground city of Kaymakli, Apollo’s temple and the house of the Virgin Mary. The Santa Sofia Cathedral, Hippodrome and Blue Mosque are just a few of this program’s highlights. We end our program in Athens, Greece where our visits include Sigtahma Square, Parliament, Acropolis, Kariatides and a trip to Delfos where we will find wonderful examples of Hellenic Art.
