Our furniture client in Southern Indiana is looking for a 3D Modeling Product Engineer is to take the design and specification input for a product from either our Customer or Design Engineer, and complete all the necessary engineering work required to make it a manufacturable product. This would include incorporating standard machining and construction features, generating 3D Part and Assembly Models, working with 2D Drafters and interfacing with all other areas in the development process that require the outputs from these activity to complete their portion of the overall project.

The ideal candidates must be team players and be individuals who are open minded, willing to promote and accept change, strive for continuous improvement, as well as having an Engineering related degree or equivalent working experience. The ability to lead and develop new products following a formalized product development process is required. Good Leadership, coaching, organizational, and communication skills are necessary. Individuals must be able to plan, coordinate, make independent decisions, and manage interfaces with people from multiple areas to help our team effort in Continuous Improvement and Customer Satisfaction.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with Customers, Design Groups, and Marketing personnel as well as other departments, and production employees would be necessary. Education/Experience in SDRC (EDS) I-DEAS Solid Modeling or other advance Solid Modeling Packages is required.
