Let's put it this way. I attended a special meeting set up by one of Vellum's resellers to have them demo Vellum for a group in my office a number of years ago and they couldn't even get it to work. We asked them to get off their standard selling presentation and had a laundry list of things we wanted to see them do, spontaneously. What a bust!
On an aside, PowerCadd has the same type of smart cursor that highlights when you are at a snap but it isnt onscreen like Vellum but rather in its own little floatingpalatte. My money is on PC being every bit as fast as Vellum.
Let us know. I assume you meant you are getting a copy of PowerCadd, or did you really mean MC? Please at least humor us and try PowerCadd. You will not regret it. I think you will really enjoy DesignWorkshop also for it simplicity in use, ease of learning and rendering capabilites especially in conjunction with the soon to be built in renderers and the use of Radiance Online!
