As a matter of facts, I'm a teacher in architecture, and I teach with computers ! So you can imagine that there's very few softs that have "escaped" my research ( and worse than mine, my student's...) If we still stand firmly with PowerCadd it's because of many reasons, some of wich are profesionnal practice, speed, and freedom of drawing....
As I've already said all that in Eng.Software "Drawing room", follow the lead and at least have a look at the different type of work possible with that soft and mail the authors if necessary, I believe that all of them have been one day or another in your choice position...
