We're deciding on whether to buy 3d max from Discreet (around US$ 3500) or LightWave 3D from NewTek (around US$ 2500). We are going to use the software together with Corel Bryce 5 and Macromedia Director 8.5.
Anyone has any thought on which is a better way to go, we're concerned with compatibility between Bryce and 3ds max/lightwave and 3ds max/lightwave and Director. What we are trying to do is use Bryce to create many virtual world scene, use 3ds max or lightwave to create some 3d objects or character and then we want to import all that into Director, add more interactivity thro' scripting and then deploy on the web thro' shockwave.Any idea ?
