Message - Shadows and alpha channels in 3DS max

In 3ds max4,I want to render a targa sequence where only the object and its shadow on the floor are solid, the rest (background and rest of the floor) I want them part of the alpha channel in order to be transparent for later compositing...how should i do? :0
