Wait until version 8 of minicad comes out. It will be called vectorworks. Those of us who are beta testers have just been released from our agreements and I can tell you the improvements are fantastic. Parametric design, reference files, reading and writing r14 DWG files, over 200 new vector script (mini pascal) commands and a whole lot more. Now if only Design Workshop and Minicad could come to some agreement to read/write files in formats other than the DXF and 3DMF..... You can get more info at....
