Hi,

I need to take a 9" X 9" transparency (USGS IR Photo) and transfer the outline of some tiny areas of property with features such as trees, grass, and water onto a Cad program for mapping reasons. I know I could scan the entire 9X9" area and take it from there, but the file would be huge. Also the areas we need are very small (.5" square) and we need very little loss to make these maps. I have to do a bunch of these so the procedure has to be cheap and fast. No photo like drawing here, just an accurate outline of the areas need to be drawn with drop in trees and water, etc. Thanks for the help.

Joe
