Hello Ting,

DesignWorkshop 1.6 supports interactive walkthroughs with lights and textures using QuickDraw 3D. The Look tool in Lights & Textures mode has a special behavior, different than in DW Standard mode. You can use the Look tool to walk forward and backward as well as to look around.

To use this feature, select the Look tool (the one that looks like a target) and use either the mouse or arrow keys. This enables you to look around your model. Holding down the Option key while using the up and down arrow keys or dragging the mouse up and down causes you to walk forward or backward. You may use the Shift and Control keys to modify this behavior. Holding down the Control key gives you smaller steps for finer control. The Shift key, while using the arrow keys, gives you larger steps, or will constrain your motion while dragging the mouse.

Future versions of DesignWorkshop will support the saving of walkthroughs as QuickTime movies from the Lights & Textures mode.

If you have any further questions regarding the use of DesignWorkshop, please feel free to let us know.
