thank you so much for your advise. I am not planning to follow up bolts and nuts, but would like to check out if they are strong enough, or see if there is a piping in the wall before drilling for some support...
o.k. I watched ArchiCad and wanted to learn about their Virtual Building (Trade Mark) in detail, but sofar I have not been able to?
Their GDL Thechnology seems to be inserting surface models instead of solids, which have the disadvantage take enormous memory.

However Revit seems to be on the track, which sounds very interesting ecspecially since Autodesk purchased it. I will try to investigate deeper, sound really good at first glance. Thank you.
