Hello Ken,

One way to get whiter walls is to go to a Lights and Textures view and use the View menu, Lighting > Less Contrast command, possibly in combination with the View menu, Lighting > Brighten Sun command.

To do exactly what you are asking use the Arrange menu, Sun and Shading Settings command. Set the time to 12:00 so the sun is due South of your model. Set the date to 3/21. Set the latitude to 90 degrees to make the sun be right at the horizon.

Your method will make south facing walls be very white, but walls facing other directions will be dark, as they are receiving no direct sunlight. If you instead turn the contrast down in the Lights and Textures view you will make walls brighter regardless of their orientation.

Please let us know whenever you have other questions.
