Gary,
Rad. OL users will hopefully find it very useful. I plan on posting many samples including both Radiance and the associated DW files. Also, helpful tips and suggestions, for novices and experts, will be posted. A discussion board will help those in need of advice. My hope is that users will exchange their findings and files. All of this will be posted in a searchable database that everyone can access. Ambitious it may be, however, I feel it will provide a more focused (specializing in Radiance) compliment to the work that Artifice has done with DW, Radiance, et.al..
The Radiance program "ranimate" is a very useful tool for making computer animations (ex. walkthroughs, flybys, ect.) and will even take the output to tape media saving time and effort, along with disk space. There are many other advantages to "ranimate" that I'll save for discussion on my site. Since running this program is time, and CPU, intensive I don't think the "Artifice Folks" are going to be to hip to the idea, however, you never know.
Thanks for the holiday wishes.
Until next year...........
Peter
