In case you haven't found the aswer to your question; according to Sir Banister Fletcher's "A History Of Architecture" the Etruscans invented the true radiating arch and a new Order of Architecture called the Tuscan. The range of dates are 750 - 100 B.C. .The Etruscans made remarkable advances in large - scale undertakings,such as the construction of city walls and sewers, the drainage of marshes and the control of rivers, and the cutting of channels to regulate the waterlevels of lakes.
The Etruscans were inhabitants of west-central Italy and their building methods were taken over by the Romans.
