As a long time PowerCadd user who was getting tire of always having to reinvent the building in Design Workshop I can tell you the new direct external is fantastic. I import the building plan, and then inport the elevation, tilt the elevation up and I have all points I have to meet both in plan and elevation in about 5 minutes. A very very fine piece of work.
Any one who uses Design Workshop should seriously consider getting PowerCadd. The time you will save will pay for the modest cost very quickly. Design Workshop and PowerCadd should bundle the two programs together and sel as one unit for a slightly reduced cost.
