Hey Gary!
.2 equals what? Assuming you mean footcandles, the traditional unit of light measurement, DW doesn't use real world units of lighting so there is no relationship as I understand it. I was on a kick a while back to incorporate REAL lighting fixtures (or representative ways to express real lighting environments) so you could intuitively add lighting. Architects know intuitively but not absolutely. However, now I just "throw" lighting all over the place and DW usually renders my first model with a very washed out look so I am obviously overlighting the model. However, beecasue I modle similar types of a known type of project I DO know the real world spacing etc for the actual building. I therefore STILL believe that it would be great to be able to pick from a library that had flourescent tubes, incandescent, metal halide, etc fixture of many types. Then along with a a great looking realistic ARCHITECTURAL model, the lighting would be representative too and lighting is VERY important in design. Values as you suggest would be fine but if they dont have any relativity what good are the values themselves?
