I have a very large model with many surfaces and items, and a few light sources, inside buildings and out. I would like to know any tips for speeding up renderings using the "Lightworks picture maker". For example, would it matter to hide the interior lights when doing an outside view? What about hiding the inside phases for an outside view.. (and visa versa for inside views).
What about the screen size and the Light and Texture window sizes? Is it faster to use a small window to run a preview of an L & T, or does it not make much of a difference?
Would it make any difference (faster or slower) to group things together?
For interior renderings that have no openeings to the outside, would it be faster to turn off the sun?
Is any information saved between renderings? i.e. is it faster to render the next step of a walkthrough, or just as fast to jump to a whole new view and render it?
Thanks for any help
