Is there really such a thing as a great "app"? If there is, I know it wouldn't be on the PC platform. Then you must ask yourself 'is 3D Studio Max really a "great app"'? Hum

Lastly, if you truely want to use multiple processors, and multiple computers, do it on the UNIX platform. Speed, efficiency, low overhead and reliablility are a much better argument.

The Mac Plug: With the multiprocessor capable G4's due later this year, OS X Server (with its UNIX BSD at its core) and OS X due this summer, the Mac platform is still the best option for speed, ease of use, reliablility, and better written "apps".
