The case of the disappearing poly-openings.
Situation: openings are created in roof slabs and walls using the poly-openings tool. The file is saved and closed. When the file is later reopened the poly-openings are gone. What’s going on?
How is DesignWorkshop used in making presentations?—which of these are typically used:
• An interactive walkthrough in the QuickDraw 3D window with the client viewing the computer screen?
• A rendering processed by Radiance. Is this usually a print (inkjet/dye-sub) or is this also just presented directly to clients on the computer screen?
• Are video tapes of walkthroughs typically made and given to clients? If so, are the walkthroughs (which can be done only in the rendered mode) sufficient, or must the file be taken to a third-party program where a walkthrough is created with lights and textures visible. If so, what programs are capable of easily creating walkthroughs with textures visible?
Which set of textures are used? the regular set, or the set in the Accessories folder labeled “DW Textures for Radiance”?
