I am writing up a thesis which explores ways to help Solomon Islanders build using their own resources, and I am looking for some useful illustrations of the use of mud-brick or stabilised earth construction, ideally in conjunction with a timber framed structure for seismic stability.

And also some illustrations of burnt clay and mud brick in the Carribean and other tropical island environments eg. Cuba, Panama, Costa Rica, Seychelles, La Reunion etc.).

Earn a credit in my thesis...:-)

Any pointers?

With kind regards,
