I am also looking for Boolean functions for another reason. I do a lot of multifamily apartments. I will have different portions of a building (an individual unit) which I need to duplicate and repeat, sometimes mirroring, and then piece together in different ways. When the connection makes a single plane, I need to make the vertical seam where they join disappear by joining the two masses. Otherwise, the seam is visible in the texture.

I'm not sure if this is associated with Booleans, but the other feature I need is to be able to assign different textures to different faces of an object!! I am the ONLY person that would find this useful?

Another feature that I don't see mentioned is integrating textures into the DW window. It's aggravating to have to keep creating different Texture windows as I develop a model in order to assess progress. Why can't we just switch to that view like we switch between wire frame and shaded or hidden line? Is this an unorthodox or unreasonable feature to want? If so, I would like to find out so that I can lower my expectations and learn to be satisfied with things as they are.
