My system was running fine with the Geforce4 mx 400 card. Out of nowhere, however, the monitor shut down. I thought it was a heating problem so I shut the whole system down for a spell. Upon booting back up. I find the distinctive "beeps" indicating that somethings wrong with the video card. EDIT: First I switched the card to a different PCI slot, which rendered no results. So I replace the g4 with my Gefore2 MX 400 card. And now, it works fine. Does the other card perform better? And should I bother finding out why it did that? In the short of things, is it worth it to fix this problem? And use the g4?

Thank you.
