I have no problems importing autocad dwg files as dwg or 3ds n to 3d studio max but when rendering, all circles are polygons, I believe they need to be nurbs for me to be able to get realistic rendering. I know of something called Autocad data exchange which converts dwg in to iges which is a nurb format but this is only for autocad 2000i i am running 2004 with 3d studio max5. Can anyone help me further, is there a setting in max or autocad i can change?
