Hello Paul,

Your problem with colors is an interesting one. It is a bit difficult to understand what you mean without seeing it.

My initial suspicion is that your monitor is set to 256 colors. DesignWorkshop is optimized for Thousands or Millions of colors, and you will get some weird results if colors are set to 256, especially in Lights and Textures mode.

To change your monitor color setting (on a Macintosh) go to the Apple menu in the top left corner, Control Panels > Monitors (or Monitors & Sound). There you will be able to set the color depth. Like I say set it to thousands or millions, not 256.

If this doesn't seem to solve the problem you should send a screen shot of this problem along with any other relevent information to support@artifice.com and we will try to figure out what is going on.
