An engine is a structure built from a source code. The source code tells the engine when the engines is compiled what to do. Like show text sjow menu load this render this and os on. Then when you compile source code you get usually a executable tol launch your game. But you also havos to have a source where the engine finds all the menu pictures models maps and other things. Because the engine needs those stuff to load all the infro mation needed to run the game successfulu,
