I suggest you try generate a DXF file and have a closer look at how a simular entity is defined .
Still when you say you have a file with all the points , why don't you find a way to format the input for the Polyline function.
You can write a small Lisp program, that read a line or reformat a read-line statement ,so the yield is a point as expected ----- now this is realy basic programming, somthing you would profit from being able to do yourself.
