I will look into the fill and font issue. I have not observed that!
As for zip, I have had very little luck using Zipit on dwg files. Stuffit has been more sucessful! Not sure why you would use pict other than to plot and view due to the fact that it is uneditable. If it is a hard copy you want why not just plot and send?
