Gary,

I find that PC users do not have Stuffit expander for the PC. They have either PKUnzip or Winzip. The files I compress with Zipit and email as an attachment with Communitator are usually successful exchanges across platforms. I have tried to get the other parties to download Stuffit for PC's but they would rather stick with what is familiar and they have experience with. I think they feel like they are using the "unverisal Cad platform" that I should go the extra mlie not them. And yes these are "my" consultants and clients.

Anyway, from past experience and discussions with the folks at EngSW I have come up with the transfer technique I've outlined.

Good Luck Peter....

Jim
