Greetings

I have been learning the 2.5 version of 3D Max and came across a very difficult and quizzical task on animation.

How do I precisely link three different mechanical parts like, for instance, a piston that goes up and down which is linked to a connecting rod that wobbles, followed by a rotational motion of a crankshaft.

Do I have to use dummies? What are they for?

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely, Ron
