I am looking for a way to take 2d images of a texture or to create textures on AutoCAD, 3D Max or similar. These are to be real solid models (rather than rendered surface textures) to be used as surface textures on wood, made using CADCAM machinery. Is this possible or do I have to painstkingly model this by hand?
