There has been much discussion about this on the AOL Board for PCadd! But tell me, why in the heck should you have to put everything one layer? That is ridiculous! WHat good is a file when you have to compromise in that fashion? Maybe if the drawing is only a few layers you could group by layers then re-cut them in after the other person receives it but geesh, how impractical! Most architects use anywhere from 8 to 30 layers!
I have had, as I recall, most luck with saving as a v12 or 13 and NOT 14. Also, have you tried Stuffit? I am still on the fence but it does seem to work well! But I do understand and agree with your comments about "the almighty" PC users!
