I have made some successful Zipped .DWG transfers with Communicator. So we'll see if this works out.
As for Zipit settings. I was told, but don't take it on MY experience the preferences should be: TEXT, MacBinary NEVER, and IMPLOSION. This was from one of the seasoned regulars on the AOL PCADD board.
For those who wonder. I am talking about a couple of issues here- one is sending PowerCADD or other Mac files for review and plotting by others (MAC and PC) and the other is successfully sending .DWG files on a regular basis to PC users.
You can Send RTL files for plotting but it they are big files and kinda like a black-box process for the people on the other end. They don't know what it will look like until it gets plotted.
