The closest thing to just typing in a set of 3D coordinates and sizes (dimensions) would be either Autocad or Turbocad or DataCad. Autocad is very expensive. Turbocad is much less expensive, however all three have a steep learning curve if this is your first experience with CAD or 3D programs. The most intuitive, user friendly and strictly modeling (not CAD) software I know of is Cinema4D. The base application of Cinema4D is "relatively" inexpensive, much more stable than Amapi, and very powerful. I've been using it for a couple of years now for 3Drenderings and some furniture design - I prefer it to Autocad which I use most every day (for 2D work). I, too, would be pleased to answer any other questions you might have.
