4D = x,y,z + time = animated 3D

Something DesignWorkshop users tend to take for granted, even though it is still revolutionary to most CAD users....

Professor Takahara's exercise was to use a given schematic plan design, the same for all the students, and have them develop it individually into complete spatial place designs. Then these place designs were presented in the form of matching or corresponding walkthrough movies (all using the same smoothed path and rendering values, I think).

The result is a potent vision of several different ways to conceive and form the same plan elements.

I'll look into the possibility of posting, either here or there.

Cheers,

K
