I think you'll be glad to hear that very complete support for importing AutoCAD polyines with thickness will be coming to DesignWorkshop Professional a lot sooner than DW Pro 2.0. In fact, we have created the primary code for this already, and soon this functionality will be integrated into the full application.
By the way, to handle these polylines correctly is quite a bit if work, because in the AutoCAD usage the "thick polylines" can have tapers and "buldges" and other complexities.
It's good to know someone will appreciate this functionality as soon as we can deliver it. Stay tuned...
