Message - 9600/300 & apple accel board

I am finally getting a machine that will do DW justice, but I have one question: With the IMS Twin Turbo Graphics Card that comes with the 9600/300 model, is there still a benefit to getting the Apple QD3D Acceleration Board? Also, will we be able to edit within the QD3D window at some point?
