Over the last year there has been some discussion on the Engineered Software Board on AOL about marketing and getting exposure for their software. Many have suggested that ES do more marketing and be more proactive despite a pretty good website.
DW has a great website with good info and resources. I know it generates good traffic probably a lot of leads due to the Lite version, which is a great marketing move. However, I wondered as I looked over a MacWarehouse today why DW is not offered in Mailorder magazines. It is good advertising as these magazines come out frequesntly, almost too much so, but if offered by mailorder, it would be good exposure.
I suspect there may be business reasons for this and if so I imagine you can't comment Kevin. However, it seems like this might be a good move to get more converts. I know there have been very favorable write-ups of the product which is great marketing but was just wondering what the drawback would be to getting the name out there on a monthly basis from the guys like MacWarehouse, MacZone, etc.
Really not any of my business, just struck me today as I was looking at all these lower and higher end, both, 3d applications as I read my most recent "marketing" tool....
