Gary, I have been construnting all elements required for a DW model in PCADD first. From the VERY complex to a simple triangle shape.
1) In PCADD layout walls as individual lines.
2) Copy these lines to a wall model layer and then use the "join" command to instantly create the polyline shapes required for extrusion.
3) Any floor to ceiling opening should be flanked by polylines, but you can "cut" openings for doorways where not to the ceiling. (Remember, that you'll get the inevitable slight threshold in the wall, though
4) I can't think of any thing required ib PCADD to make DW work easier.

It's really DW that must and will improve!
