Powercadd and DesignWorkshop do EXACTLY what I was suggesting. I just created a trial building using the polygon tool in PC and then exported it. I THOUGHT the imported file would be "exploded" or "unjoined" with all polylines and no "mass". But I was wrong and am glad I was because it means DW does what I wanted it to do! I simply took the imported objects, set a z value in the info box and presto! Solid walls! Walls that you can render and cut openings into
just like I ws hoping for. Kevin, youre a step ahead of me...why didn't you just slap me and say so? *lol* And Bob could have followed! :-) I just was confused by the replies because noone explicitly said "it already does that Gary!" Next time don't be so polite!! :-)
