Have any of you 3-D people out there heard of a commercially available "printing" process that can take a virtual 3-d image and print out an actual physical model??
I am seeking to take a (stereo?) picture of a textured surface (such as a natural rock wall) and have relief 3-d prints made, similar to the USGS topo maps that are formed onto plastic sheets with a 3-D impression or embossed surface of mountains & vallies.
