Hello Gary,
I believe we have asked for you to send us RenderCity (Radiance Online) textures in .jpg format in the past, just for emailing purposes. Radiance really needs the images to be in their own special format, but that format can be made from nearly any image format, including PICT.
I don't think RenderCity really cares much about the size of the texture image, although the larger it is the more memory it will require to use and the longer the rendering will take.
LightWorks, on the other hand, cares a great deal about the size of the image. Textures must be square and the pixel dimension must be a power of 2 (64, 128, 256, 512). If the size of the texture does not meet these standards, LightWorks will resize the image in memory to work. THis means you will have two copies of the texture in RAM and it takes additional time to resize the images.
In general it is good to make your textures sized to a power of two like this. We may request, or suggest, this for RenderCity, but it is not a requirement.
To make the renamed Textures folder take effect you need to close and open your model, or open a new model. You do not need to quit DesignWorkshop.

Mike Wheeler
