A little followup to my previous post...

Regarding textures and RenderCity. RenderCity expects square textures as a default. The size does not matter, but the aspect ratio does. Non-square textures in RenderCity requires hand-tuning of the material definition.

In general you'll be safe in all the different rendering options if you make square textures that are sized to a power of two (32, 64, 128, 256, 512). Following these rules is the best way to keep things simple, to keep from needing multiple copies of files around, and to keep from having to do additional work to get textures to render properly under all circumstances.
