Hello Gary,

The file format used by Radiance is a proprietary format. It cannot be saved by Photoshop, so no matter if you save it as PICT, TIFF, or Targa conversion will have to take place once it is on the rRadiance machine.

We have recently developed a way to make it easy to convert PICT files to the Radiance format. Prior to this we asked for TIFF or Targa files.

When you are editing the images into textures on a computer you can get any width at all. Use Photoshop to paste together two photos, or two copies of the same photo to get the width you need.

Regards,
