I don't look to one program to do it all. Each program has its core purpose, and together will create what you need for your job. At a desktop level, I still find it much easier to use 3D architectural programs for modeling in unrendered form, capture a view, and finish it in a paint program. I've never quite grasped the value of a program I have to set up to render overnight.
