The file sent to Artifice Support, robscar, went through the Lofting Machine fine and produced the correct results.
For the files that you say come back, but without smooth transitions between segments the problem could be from sorting the polylines incorrectly.
If you are using a Geometric sort order you need to be sure to select to correct longitudinal axis for sorting. On the robscar file if you tayed with the default of sorting along the x axis you would get an unsmooth result. The robscar model has a longitudinal axis along the y axis. When choosing this as the longitudinal axis, the results are nice and smooth, and correct.
I have some ideas for making the Lofting Machine more forgiving in the geometry submitted to it, but I do not know if this will help the problems you have been encountering, or if it will be completed in time for your project.
