I think one has to crank out a lot of Construction drawings to appreciate the PowerCADD package for flexibility and speed.

It is not the same as rendering. Other tools, I am sure, are considered more important to heavy modeling-renderers.

You have to appreciate, though, if you are a visual artist, that PowerCADD has always offered one of the best wysiwyg interface that can be had on a screen and utilizes, instead of replaces your hand-drawing experience. AutoCAD, for example would allow you to produce the same type of visually expressive work, but it is harder--hence many CAD "operators" produce un-draftsmanlike work.
