Ken
Noone is at all critical of you and your use and choice of DW and Painter / Photoshop. For example, I am sure I could find a better or alternative way of doing renderings and come up with as good a solution. So, my question is, Why are _we_ on the defensive about _our_ choices? What do _you_ think is missing in PC that makes it less than adequate in your mind. Tell us _specifically_ what it cannot do. You appear to be the architectural expert. What can it _not_ do well? I am sure all of us PC users are willing to listen and not be stubborn and bull-headed. The AOL PC users group are all ears and we _are_ watching and curious.
I think many have hit the nail on the head here already so now that you have a little better idea of out thoughts, tell us yours, articulately as possible please.
Lastly, I pity the unemotional, inpassionate person. I am passionate about all I do in life, including, perhaps sadly ;-), my choice of 2d cad software. I tackle my profession, my work and my job with emotion, not emotionally in the bad sense of the word, and passionately. Those who cannot do that are not having fun and perhaps you are noy having fun. Mac users are perhaps a more inherently passionate group so get used to it. I figure you were once a Mac user as DW was _only_ Mac based but youre sure talking like a pee-cee clone (clown?) now. Get some passion, Ken, get some emotion.
Now, get to answering how PC falls short gainst _ANY_ 2D_Application. Big job or small job, but in the architecture profession. Not modeling, not rendering, drawing org charts or making posters. _YOU_ said architecture so tell us how it fails architecturally.
Happy New Years!
