The melting charge is heated up by induction under vacuum or pressure (protective gas) and, when liquid, is cast into evacuated, preheated flasks for jewellery production (lost wax process) or directly into the granulating unit (option) for the production of granules.
The special advantage of indutive heating is that the melting temperature is rapidly reached, because the heat is directly generated in the metal and in the crucible.
The metal is thoroughly mixed during the melting process, due to a magnetic field which ensures a homogeneous mixing even when using new alloys.
