Casting Process
After the crucible is filled with metal, the induction heating is turned on and the temperature previewed is adjusted.
The condition of the melting charge can be seen through a sight glass. The metal is melted under protective gas to prevent oxidation.
When the casting temperature is reached, the flask is put in and the bell jar is closed.
When starting the vacuum pump, the casting process is acuated after control of the temperature and vacuum. The casting process is done step by step under vacuum and controlled temperature. After approximately 30 sec. the flask can be taken out of the vacuum chamber. The next melting process may be started. The melting time is about 2-3 min.
