Hello Ryan,

I use DesignWorkshop (DW) for 3D presentation modeling and rendering at our firm, The Roybal Corporation. Take a look at the Artifice User Gallery to see some of my samples (as well as many other impressive images from other architects and renderers). The nice thing about DW is that it lets you be free about your modeling and not worry whether a wall is off by a couple of inches or not. It certainly appeals to the artist in me without inhibiting my engineer side.

I can't think of a better application than DesignWorkshop for just allowing you to think freely about your design but have enough detail to make the renderings convey the completeness of an actual building.

I see DW as the clay/chip board/museum board equivalent to traditional modeling.

Good Luck,
Larry
